Senior Environmental Planner
Trever serves as City Planner for the City of Trinidad, which is a lot more work than you would expect for such a small town. She has the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders with often differing opinions on complex projects. Trever has 14 years of experience working on projects in the Coastal Zone and processing coastal development permits both as an applicant and a regulator.
She is also responsible for coordinating environmental review and permitting for a wide range of projects including mixed use and infill developments, zoning ordinance and general plan amendments, subdivisions and restoration projects.
She plays a lead role in stream assessments, water quality monitoring and watershed planning. Her thesis was on source tracking bacterial pollution from septic systems using a flourometer in the Trinidad-Westhaven area, and she serves as the City of Trinidad OWTS (septic) Administrator.
